Painter Sculpturer Photographer

The exhibition is the fruit of an encounter between three artists working in three different media – painting, photography and sculpture. They had invited one other to join in on a mutual examination of potential relationships in the framework of a short-term exhibition at the gallery.
The works on show, now detached from their regular display context, develop a new syntax that creates a tension between narrative imagery and matter. Their surfaces both conceal and expose layers and geological formations that vacillate between the ordinary and the enigmatic.
